ACWF Calls on Women to Follow Party's Leadership, Embark on New Journey
March 10, 2021General Secretary Xi Jinping extended festive greetings and best wishes to the country's women of all ethnic groups and from all walks of life ahead of International Women's Day, which falls on March 8.
Xi applauded the great contributions made by Chinese women in every front, including securing a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, achieving decisive success in eradicating extreme poverty and fighting against COVID-19. He also expressed his great expectations for the country's women and gave specific requirements for the work of the women's federations, showcasing his care for hundreds of millions of Chinese women and the great importance he attaches to women's cause.
The All-China Women's Federation called on women around the country to study the spirit of the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi, to keep the dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation in mind, to carry forward the spirit of reform and innovation, and to make contributions on the journey of fully building a modern socialist country in the new era.
